Dairy Daughters secure top international Holstein sires

One of the top international Holstein sires is now available in the UK after being secured by AI company, Dairy Daughters.

Alapag Iron Active, the Boss Iron son was recently was top of genetic rankings in Italy, country renown for breeding high type production cattle.

Active appears to be showing outstanding type, fertility and longevity traits of Iron, his sire and high production from his dam, a Manfred daughter from the American Allie family.

Active with a Profitable Lifetime Index (PLI) of £200, also has positive scores for both fat and protein percentage. His production proof weighs in with 525kg milk, 30kg of fat and 18.6kg protein.

Dairy Daughters, Alison Lovell says Active is a bull that reflects today’s dairy farmers’ goals.
