Four models in Massey’s new small tractor range

Massey Ferguson has launched a new range of small tractors.

The four MF 3600-series models offer a power range from 58hp to 91hp. All are powered by turbocharged 3.3-litre Sisu engines – the range-topping 3465 is also intercooled with maximum torque achieved at below 1400rpm.

Two-wheel drive versions have a 30kph 12F x 12R box, while four-wheel drive tractors have a 40kph, 24F x 24R transmission.

Options include clutchless shuttle and powershift gear splits, the latter allowing each of the four gears to be shifted into high or low at the touch of a button on the gear lever.

For the pto, the new tractors are equipped with 540 and 540/750rpm as standard with options for 540/1000, 540/750/groundspeed or 540/1000/groundspeed.

Linkage lift capacity is 2500kg and the tractors can be fitted with up to five spool valves, of which two can be joystick-controlled for the operation of a loader.

In the cab, an adjustable seat can, if specified, benefit from air suspension and there will be those who enjoy having an opening front screen along with downswept exhaust.

All four 3600-series models are now in production and will be available from December onwards. Prices have yet to be announced.
