Mole Valley Feed Solutions employees to benefit from higher education course

Employees of the Mole Valley Feed Solutions will be the first to embark upon a new higher education course which was officially launched at the Dairy Event and Livestock Show.
The University College Diploma in Ruminant Nutrition is aimed at people already working in ruminant feed sales, advisory or technical roles and provides them with an opportunity to receive formal recognition of existing skills and knowledge while developing their higher technical and communication abilities.
Keith Ockenden, head of agriculture, Mole Valley Feed Solutions said, “This is an exciting new opportunity for the supply industry. The independent qualification will be a new goal for feed advisors-it will help develop key skills and provide latest information.”
One of the first students, Peter Isaac said it’s a great new initiative. “The chance to further my nutritional knowledge, gain a formal qualification from a leading organisation and be part of an industry first was not to be missed.”
Course manager Dr Liam Sinclair explained by underpinning commercial activity with formal study to earn a Diploma in Ruminant Nutrition students can increase their knowledge of ruminant nutrition and feeding and demonstrate their commitment to the animal feed industry.
