Full Carlisle Bleu du Maine report

In the Bleus at Carlisle on Friday the top price was a 1050gns call for the pre-sale champion from Messrs Vile and Norman. Sired by Maximus Everready he is out of a homebred dam by Alfie and was sold to A and C Watson, Cockermouth, Cumbria.1282011 Lot 1305.JPG

At 850gns was Calla Hit Man from William Baillie. This is by Cysgod Daniel and out of Calla Countess. This one sold to Messrs Eggers and Kohs, Osterhever, Germany.

And shortly behind at 820gns was Rumwell Granite from Messrs Kilby and Price. This one is by Rumwell Carl and out of Rumwell Esmerelda. He was bought by Richard Pilkington, Wrexham.

Selling for 620gns was a ram lamb from Messrs Vile and Norman. This Churchbridge Warrio son is out of a dam by Gerrard and was bought by T S Goldie, Thirsk.

Best of the females was a shearling ewe from Peter Fraser at 650gns. This was a daughter of Calla Finlay out of a dam by Tighnahinch Dreadnought and sold to Laine Daff, Uplawmoor.

Millenium Bleu

The sale of Millenium Bleu also hit a high of 1050gns, with this money given for a shearling from Richard Pilkington. This was a son of N914 Aintree out of a dam by Langley Charlie Boy and sold to M Sharp, Beckermet, Cumbria.

Second best at 750gns was one from William Baillie. This was a son of L752 Calla out of a Langley Cannon daughter. He was bought by N S Thornborrow, Hawes.

Then at 850gns was another from the same home. This was also by L752 Calla and out of a Cannon daughter and was taken by C Murray, Southwaite, Carlisle.
