Farming takes to the boards
THE NATIONAL THEATRE in London is putting on a special performance of a monologue written about the impact of foot-and-mouth disease.
Farming, written by leading playwright Paul Jepson, will get its world premiere on Thurs (Oct 14).
The piece is about a retired farmer who talks about the devastating impact – both economic and emotional – of F&M.
The monologue will be followed by a discussion about the issues raised, led by a panel including NFU president Tim Bennett and writer Colin Tudge.
Tickets are available from the box office on 020 7452 3000 or online from the National Theatre.
