Inaugural Dorset show and sale at Chelford tops 825gns

A top price of 825gns was achieved at the first ever Dorset show and sale at Chelford, organised by members of the Northern Dorset Breeders Club.

(07) Champion Dorset.jpgAchieving the top price out of the 72 sheep on offer, was the supreme champion – a shearling ram (pictured above) from Mr Stan Driver, Chisworth.  This one was snapped up by Mr D. Redgate of Mansfield. 

Mr Driver was also responsible for the top priced female – a horned shearling ewe which secured 400gns from Mr P Grange of Nantwich. 

Thereafter, the first prize ram lamb from Mr J Royan of Putton Mill, Berkshire, secured 400gns from Mr S Kettleborough, Minshull Vernon, Cheshire.
