Isolation pen helps calf recovery

Isolating calves showing early signs of illness, will be made easier thanks to the new, purpose-built Isolation Pen from Solway Recycling.

This self-standing, simple to erect pen comes with a practical back door and optional front bucket holders, including one for teat feeding.

The pen is made from the recycled, farm waste plastic material Agriboard, which has already proved robust, durable and easy to clean in the company’s lamb creep feeders and calf and lambing pens.

Using a material that does not harbour infections and provides a draft free environment increases the chances of calf recovery in an Isolation Pen that reduces the risk of a rapidly spreading disease outbreak.

Available singly or in a group, Solway Isolation Pens measure 910mm wide x 1500mm deep x 1000mm high. They can also be supplied 1124mm wide x 1500mm deep x 1000mm high.
