Lanark Charollais trade tops at 1000gns

It appears a pretty lacklustre atmosphere greeted vendors and buyers at Lanark on Friday as trade for Charollais sheep managed to top at just 1000gns twice.

Arwel Owen was the first at that money with a substitue entry

Meanwhile Mr H Davies, Aberdeen, then sold for 1000gns. This one Cannahars Jumbo is by Banwy Hornblower, a first prize and highest priced tup at Lanark in 2007. He is out of a Logie Durno Eastern Promise daughter.

The champion came from Herbie Kennedy and sold for 800gns. Parkgate Jubilee is by Glyn Coch Idol who was bought at the Welshpool Premier sale for 2000gns and is out of a Penywern Bond daughter.
