Simmentals topped at 8,800gns for Innerwick Butcher, born September 2010 and a son of Castlegate Titan. Put forward by Mr and Mrs L Moffat, Innerwick, Dunbar, he was bought by MacFarlane Farms, Quixwood Farm, Duns.
Second top price was 8,500gns for the champion from Mr W S Stronach, Berryleys, Keith. Islavale Boris was sired by Woodhall Walker and purchased for pedigree use by J and E Dyet,
Islavale Buzz a son of Glenturk Premier reached 7,500gns also from Mr W S Stronach, Berrykeys, Keith. The purchaser was Messrs Walton and Sons, Dund house, Otterburn.
Mr W S Stronach also sold a pair of bulls for 7,000gns. Islavale Bismark was sired by Kilbride Farm Newry, going to its new owners of W and A Oag , Brims Mains, Thurso,

In the Charolais section, J A and M F McMillan, Craigmore, Brechin, had a successful day securing the breed championship and the top price of 8,000gns for a March 2011 born bull called Dunesk General.
The promising youngster was sired by Elgin Columbo and sold to W Milne, Milton of Edinglassie, Strathdon.
Blelack Fodue, son of Goldie Dynamite was sold by Mr N F Massie OBE, Blelack, Aboyne, for 7,000gns and he went home to T Leslie, Quoymorhouse, Orkney.
6,500gns was achieved for Westcarse Factor son of Kersknowe Clasman, exhibited by J H Christie and Son, West Carse,
6,000gns was achieved twice by Mr H Goldie, South Bowerhouses, Ruthwell,
