Mineral supplement licks health trouble

A MULTI-MINERAL supplement containing a wide range of naturally balanced minerals, trace elements, amino acids and vitamins is now available from The Glenside Group.

The Seaquim Elite supplement is available in 20kg or 40kg bucket licks and improves feed efficiency and immune system function, says the company. Glenside says animals are healthier and perform better, with improved fertility and weight gain.

Buckets contain 25% Seaquim Elite seaweed, with 7% protein, 1.5% oil and an ME of 11MJ/kg DM and can cost just 5-7p a head a day for calves and sheep and 15p a head a day for adult cattle (01786 816 655; fax 01786 816 100).
