Lockerley dominate Angus calf show at Smithfield

Lockerley Hall Estates took the overall championship in the Aberdeen-Angus calf show last night here at Smithfield with their bull calf.

Leading the way was Lockerley Cougar, a January born bull by Lockerley Rocky and out of Lockerley Cruz Princess.

In reserve spot was the reserve male champion P C Stovold and Son’s Rosemead Epaminondas another January born bull calf. This one is by Rosemead Kildare and out of Rosemead Erica.

Taking the female championship were Alan and Christine Bishop with their heifer calf Warrenho Ember a March born daughter of Warrenho Just Eric and out of Warrenho Emerald.

Reserve female champion was the Stovolds again with their September 2007 born heifer Rosemead Empress. This one is by Ellin Erroneous and out of Galcantry Empress.
