Ludgate takes South of England commercial beef title

Kevin Ludgate, the dominant force of the commercial show scene last year, was on form again today, taking the overall championship in the commercial section here at Ardingly. His leader was a Limousin cross heifer and took the title ahead of Mike and Jean Dickens’ heifer.

Judge, Emir Jones, Wales, said the heifer was spot on for the day and carried strong fleshing throughout her body, including a superb loin.
