Topping yesterday’s Limousin bull sale at 9,200gns was Whinfellpark Firstchoice (Lot 410) from Messrs Jenkinson, Clifton Moor, Penrith.
This one is by Wilodge Cerberus and out of WhinfellPark Vine and sold to Fotheringham, Ballinloan, Perthshire.
Two then sold at 9,000gns, the first of which was overall Limousin champion Beath Franco (Lot 336) from Mr J Thomson, Hilton of Beath Farm, Kelty. This one is a son of Goldies Crackerjack out of Sarkley Carmen and sold to Paterson, Golland, Kinross.
At the same money was Spittalton Flame (lot 384) from Mr J Burnett, Upper Spittalton, Blair Drummond, Stirling. By Hargill Blaze and out of Spittalton Vache, this one headed to Kilcoy Mains, Muir of Ord, Ross-shire.
Than at 7,500gns was Spittalton Frewster (Lot 366) from Mr J Burnett and sons, Upper Spittalton, Blair Drummond, Stirling. This one is a son of Hargill Blaze and out of Spittalton Beatrix.
While, Dyke Foreman (Lot 365) went for 7,000gns. This one was put forward by Messrs J R MacGregor, Dyke Darm, Milton of Campsie and is a son of Tehix and out of Dyke Calypso. Mactier and Son, Boghouse Mochrum, Newton Stewart.
Another from Messrs J R MacGregor, then sold at the same money. This was Dyke Fernando (Lot 393), a Dyke Bravado son, out of Dyke Bonbon. He headed to McFadzean and Son, Woodhead of Mailer, Perth.
Then, at 6,800gns, it was a Ampertaine Bravo son, Ronick Flame (Lot 391) from Mr R Dick, Mains of Throsk, Stirling. This one sold to Buteland Farm, Templehouse, Edinburgh.
