2 Agriculture to relocate poultry feed mill

Independent milling business 2 Agriculture has said it will relocate its Scottish feed mill from just outside Edinburgh, and develop the site into office space, hotel and leisure facilities.
The company is looking for a new location suitable for a “state-of-the-art production site” in the Rosyth area, just north of Scotland’s capital.

The new mill will have a capacity of 300,000t/year, according to a statement about the proposed move.
Gavin Berry, managing director of 2 Agriculture said it represented a commitment to “a sustainable Scottish poultry industry”.
“We are currently working with some of the best architects and planners in the UK – and have a shortlist of four construction companies who will execute this new build project for us.
“By replacing our older Edinburgh mill, we will be able to ensure our customers enjoy excellence at every level – from the grain as it enters the mill, state of the art technology and engineering through to delivery on farm,” he added.
2 Agriculture has three UK feed mills producing just under a 1m tonnes of poultry feed each year. Its two other mills are in North Wales and East Anglia.
