Bernard Matthews appoints new insurers
Bernard Matthews has appointed Oval Insurance Broking as its livestock brokering and risk management provider.
The insurance will be delivered through Oval’s “Poultry Unique” policy, which covers all forms of disease that may jeopardise a flock. It can also be tailored to cover a particular disease that a flock may be more susceptible to.
Alongside livestock, the policy can also insure other assets that can be found on a farm, including technology such as wind turbines or solar panels.
