Hubbard appoints new poultry technician
Breeding company Hubbard has appointed Patrick Nicholls to join its UK team as poultry technician, with responsibility for technical services to customers as well as the company’s production facilities in the UK.
Mr Nicholls, who is replacing Nick Lynn, has a Higher National Diploma in Agriculture from Askam Bryan, York, and brings a number of year’s experience in the poultry sector with him.
Most recently he was the agricultural manager of Highbury Poultry Farm Products, being responsible for their broiler growing operations. Prior to that he was breeder farms manager for an independent flock farmer, parent stock manager at Humberside for Premier Poultry (now PD Hook), and broiler area manager for Grampian Country Chickens (now 2 Agriculture).
Since joining Hubbard last November, Mr Nicholls has gone through an extensive training programme in the UK and France. He is based in Shropshire and reports to Jim Hunnable.
