Jenni Falconer to help promote eggs in 2016

TV and radio presenter Jenni Falconer and top chef Neil Rankin have signed up to be British Lion eggs ambassadors for 2016, joining TV celebrity and fitness entrepreneur Lucy Mecklenburgh in supporting the ÂŁ1m #EggCentric marketing campaign.

Neil Rankin, whose London restaurant Bad Egg opened in 2015, will be developing a recipe collection featuring a dozen modern recipes with eggs as the “hero” ingredient.

The new recipe collection will feature online, as well as being used in an extensive PR campaign.

Jenni Falconer, who is a health and fitness enthusiast, as well as broadcast media presenter, will join an eggs “masterclass” hosted by Neil Rankin to launch the #EggCentric campaign in January.

A social media campaign using the #EggCentric hashtag will encourage sharing of the recipes by bloggers and Instagram users, as well as on the British Lion eggs social media channels. 

Lucy Mecklenburgh will continue to share her love of eggs as a Lion ambassador in 2016, promoting eggs as a nutritious and tasty hero ingredient.

Miss Mecklenburgh has an aspirational young audience who follow her healthy lifestyle, as well as 2.5 million followers on social media.
