Minster buys out Lanes Vet Group poultry business

The Minster Veterinary Practice has taken over Lanes Vet Group’s poultry division.

The expansion will see Minster moving into Lancashire, building on its current business in Yorkshire, the east Midlands and Herefordshire.

Alan Pearson (pictured left), of Lanes Vet Group, said it would be “business as usual” for existing clients. “We believe that the personal approach to our work, as well as the benefits of a nationally recognised practice, will both be realised,” he said.

The sale has been completed and Alastair Johnson (pictured right), poultry director for Minster said the team would soon contact customers individually for meetings.

“Our national expertise, large veterinary team, supporting laboratories and training department, along with our personal and dedicated approach, sets us apart. We see tremendous potential to expand our poultry business further in this part of the country,” he added.
