Moy Park brand to be sold in Northern Ireland Tescos
Poultry Processor Moy Park has has announced nine of its branded products have gone on sale in Tesco stores in Northern Ireland.
Only locally sourced poultry will be used in the range, which will include ready to cook stuffed breast joints and whole packaged chickens, as well as ready meals such as chicken and mushroom casserole.
Sandra Weir, fresh food buying manager at Tesco NI, said research had shown that next to price, buying local was a priority for shoppers.
Forming part of Tesco NI’s “Taste Northern Ireland Campaign”, Ms Weir said: “We are really delighted to be able to add Moy Park to the list of trusted local names customers will now see in their Tesco store.”
Paul Burch, Moy Park accounts director said: “Moy Park has been trusted by Northern Ireland consumers since 1943.
“We recognise that consumers are demanding healthy food that is quick to cook, which is why we have developed both fresh and convenient products under the Moy Park brand.”
