New venue for this year’s Poultry Meat Conference

Registration has opened for this year’s Poultry Meat Conference – popularly known as “Chicken 2014” – and organisers are highlighting that the meeting has moved venue.
This year, the conference takes place at the Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry, on Tuesday 16 September from 9am to 2pm. As ever, attendance is free, with costs covered by a range of industry sponsors. Delegates must, however, pre-register.

The conference is a technically-led series of seminars that focus on practical advice for broiler growers, and is aimed squarely at a poultry farming audience.
Provisional speakers include British Poultry Council chief executive Andrew Large, broiler grower and Nuffield scholar Clare Bragg and, from the University of Arkansas, Susan Watkins on water quality. John Cessford, of BOCM Pauls, will again chair the meet.
