NI bronze turkeys change hands

Downview Farm Fresh Turkeys, suppliers of Holly Berry Bronze Turkey poults in Northern Ireland, has been taken over by Jonathan & Lois Buchanan, who previously worked raising turkeys and keeping laying hens.

The Buchanan family comes to the business after previous owners Allan, Katherine & Jonathan McCamley sold their mixed dairy and turkey farm to move to Ontario, Canada.

Buchanan Turkeys will now be the main agent for Holly Berry Hatcheries, supplying white and bronze poults, slower growing strains and the mainstream T8 and T5 breeds of turkey from August to the end of September.
