This October marks a decade of the Farmers Weekly Awards, championing the best of British farming, and entries are now open for what promises to be the biggest year yet.
Whether you’re an egg farmer who’s investing in the future, you grow broilers with total precision, or you operate in the turkey, duck or goose sectors, we want your entries.
The awards are there to celebrate excellence in whatever form – be it superb stockmanship or innovative marketing at the farmgate and beyond.

Whatever your poultry farming enterprise, you could be in with a chance of winning at the “Farming Oscars”.
Over the 10 years the awards have taken place, there have been almost 500 winners and finalists bringing prestige to their businesses.
Last year’s Poultry Farmers of the Year, Richard and Stephen Tulip (pictured above) of egg producer/packer Lintz Hall Farm, picked up new business just days after the results were announced. And Traditional Norfolk Poultry – top turkey in 2012 – saw seasonal sales up 35% last Christmas.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday 30 April at 12pm. You can either enter yourself, or nominate somebody else by visiting awards.fwi.co.uk
