Poultry firm Bowden & Knights bought by Elta Group
Free image from our library Poultry health and hygiene business Bowden & Knights has been bought by Elta Group, which specialises in the sale of fans and ventilation.
Elta Group has a number of brands familiar to those in the poultry sector, including Hydor and online retailer The Poultry Hut.
Bowden & Knights will retain its family-run management team, comprising Mike Bowden and Sarah and Neville Knight.

Mr Bowden said: “The acquisition provides us with the support to achieve some exciting plans, expanding our well-known brand further into existing markets as well as developing new markets and working side by side with the Hydor team for reciprocal opportunities.”
The company is principally involved in the sale of health and hygiene products to the commercial poultry sector.
Elta Group chairman David Ball said: “We welcome the Bowden & Knights team warmly into the group and look forward to working with Mike and Sarah to build on the legacy and intrinsic values the two families have created.”
