The television advert is set to air as part of the commercial break during popular soap Emmerdale at approximately 7.15pm on Wednesday 12 September.
The message to consumers is that Red Tractor products are safe, traceable and farmed with care, and to look out for the Red Tractor label on produce when shopping.
Red Tractor said the animated commercial would run for 8 weeks on terrestrial and digital channels and was designed to appeal to shoppers with children.
It said research suggested that shoppers were twice as likely to look for Red Tractor produce when they know what the label stood for.
The NFU is urging farmers to help support the campaign, asking for people on twitter to post farming photos, photos of tractor and pictures of Red Tractor meals using the hashtag #trustthetractor, remembering to tag @RTFarmers and @RedTractorFood.
