Ufac promotes managers to sales

Newmarket animal supplement company Ufac has promoted one of its technical advisers to the role of UK sales manager.

Mark Townsend, who joined Ufac in 2009 as technical adviser for the South West of England and Wales, will now work to increase sales of supplements for the pig, poultry, sheep and dairy sectors.

Mr Townsend gained his agricultural qualifications at Somerset College of Agriculture and then worked on dairy farms in the UK and United States before moving into management and consultancy, being awarded the Consultant’s Consultant Award while working at Promar International.
