Smart black heifer steals the show at Gisburn

Good trade at Gisburn Auction Marts pedigree dairy cattle show and sale saw prices topping at £2060 for a smart black heifer.

Ladino Park Talent who took the heifer championship for Gordon Beresford, Hellifeild sold to B and L Whitefield and Son, Shropshire.

Next best at £1980 was two year old Lucky Mike daughter, consigned by John and Gillian Dewhurst, Preston, she sold to M Ridsdale, Preston. He also went on to buy a Dixon-Lee Aaron daughter from Simon Thompson, Preston for £1920.
