Stirling Bull Sales 2013: Salers championship

Taking the overall male championship is Mr A MacKenzie’s Whitebog Geronimo sired by Seawell Diplomat and out of Whitebog Sheila.

Standing in reserve Messrs Pye’s Rigel Popeye sired by Rigel Duncan Pye and out of Rigel Pascal Poll Pye.

 Commenting on his placing Judge Ian Bell said the champion animal was “modern, big and long, with good bone.”

He said the bull in reserve had very good flesh cover, but just was pipped to the post by the scale of the animal in first place, which is a year older.
