Judge and Farmer Focus writer Iain Green, Fochabers,has awarded the senior champion ticket to the winner of class seven, Mr W G MacPherson’s Bel DhuCapercaillie 11. This Hockenhull Waterloo son is out of Blackford Wagtail andhas a TSI of +67 and an SRI of +78.
In reserve is Mr W S Stronach’s IslavaleChip 11, forward from class six. Sired by Glenturk Premier he is out ofIslavale Wonder and has a TSI and SRI of +64 and +70, respectively.
Taking the top spot in the intermediatechampionship is Annick Clansman 11 (Lot 201), exhibited by Mr L D Quarm. Siredby Skerrington Visa his dam is Annick Primrose’s Veronica, a Stirling Nelsondaughter. Clansman has a TSI of +68 and an SRI of +76.
In reserve Mr Green tapped out J L and C JWeatherup’s Lisglass Churchill 11, sired by Omorga Volvo and out of GlenturkTessa. Churchill has a TSI of +80 and an SRI of +82.
Next up and taking the rosette for the Junior Champion title is DerrycallaghanCrystal Star 11 (243), forward from Mr H C Stubbs and A A Burleigh,Ballindarragh. Sired by Omorga Regan and out of Derrycallaghan Top Girl, he hasa TSI of +69 and an SRI of +72.
Standing second to him is (Lot 274) Mr W SStronach’s Islavale Cassius 11, sired by Woodhall Walker and out of IslavaleSally. He carries a TSI of +77 and an SRI of +85.
