Tresemple dairy dispersal peaks at 2,500gns twice
Bidding at Paul and Coral Richards’ Tresemple dairy dispersal sale at Sedgemoor peaked at 2,500gns twice for freshly calved heifers, reflecting a strong demand for fresh milk.
Selling first at this top price was the VG85 Tresemple Model Violet 53rd, bought by Robertson Dairy Management.
Second, was the VG86 Tresemple Verity Delta 23rd purchased by CH & BC Corbett Ltd.
The cows topped at 2,450gns for the red and white second calver Tresemple Natalie Red 76th GP81 by the homebred bull Tresemple Arkansas. She joins AD Bulled and Sons, Barnstaple.
They also secured Tresemple Snowdrop Red 37th VG85, a red and white fourth calver by Pursuit September Storm that had given over 10,000kgs in every lactation, with butterfats of over 4%.
The reds continued in demand with Tresemple Model Violet Red 49th VG86 and Tresemple Rebecca Regina Red 100th VG85 both selling for 2,250gns as did the January calved Ex92-4E 4th calver Tresemple Verity Delta 17th.
Incalf heifers PD+ seven months sold to 1,420gns for Tresemple Karess 4th. Meanwhile A lot heifer calves sold to 440gns for Tresemple Princess Nanette 50th by ‘Comestar Lofficiel ET’ and out of a VG87 pointed dam.
