Prices reached 1,800gns at the Dutch Texel sheep sale earlier this week. Leading trade and living up to his name was Turbo Topper from J Rodenburg’s Turbo flock. This February 2013 born ram is by Turbo Simon and sold in a half share to S Wigham, Park Burnfoot Farm, Featherstone, Haltwhistle, Northumberland and J Metcalfe, Low Fauld, Ruckcroft, Armathwaite, Carlisle, Cumbria.Top Price  Lot 36 x1

Then at 1,750gns was the 1st prize Shearling Ram and Overall Champion Thacka Trademark from G Pyman. Sired by Haringhuizen this one sold to RE and S Williamson, Littleburn Farm, Hamsterley, Bishop Aukland, Co Durham. Champion 1

Next in the money was an entry from the Rathbone flock of Jane Davis with Rathbone UK0129153. This Den Burg son sold to R Atkinson, Beck Hill Farm, Scorton, Richmond, North Yorkshire for 1,500gns.
