We’re proud that some of the UK’s most respected and trusted farm and mixed veterinary practices are part of VetPartners, a UK-wide veterinary group that puts animals and people at the forefront of everything it does.

Founded by vets, VetPartners understands that no two practices are the same, and we celebrate and embrace that independent spirit, enabling our farm vets to continue their close working relationship with clients.

Excellent service

We believe in investing in people, our practices, facilities, equipment and the latest technology so we can provide outstanding veterinary care for livestock and an excellent service for farmers.

In challenging times for the veterinary profession, we provide a secure home for our practices and our people.

Together with our practices, our focus is on providing an excellent service to farmers and enhancing the health, welfare and productivity of their livestock.

Trust

We achieve this by investing in our vets and helping them to develop their skills and knowledge to meet the expectations of the UK’s farmers and evolve with their needs.

We know you value your trusted relationship with your local practice and you will always be able to rely on that personal touch from your farm vet.

But being part of a larger network of practices has huge advantages for our farm vets, who are able to access greater resources, specialist knowledge and technical data solutions that are only available to our family of practices.

Our vets

Our aim at VetPartners is that farmers are able to access a consistently high level of farm vetting and to achieve this we recruit, train and retain the best people.

Learning is part of our DNA so we help to develop individuals, practices and teams to ensure continual improvement in what we do.

Our vets have access to professional development opportunities and regular CPD and further education opportunities.

Our practice teams work together to find solutions to challenges faced by our farm clients, enabling them to take evidence-based approaches when tackling these issues with clients.

Technology

Technological advancements have permeated every industry across the world and farming is no exception.

All our vets work closely with Kingshay independent dairy specialists to develop farm animal health tracking tools, which can be used to track all types of health and performance data to spot issues before they would otherwise be noticed, and enhance the consultancy and analysis offered on farm.

Data-driven insight is invaluable for making informed decisions about your livestock care on farm.

The next decade will be one of change for livestock farmers and vets.

As the Sustainable Farming Incentive is phased in, farmers will increasingly need to demonstrate how their management practices are promoting animal health, as well as benefiting the environment.

The investment in digital tools and training will enable our vets to offer the best possible support to our clients as we navigate these changes together.

VetPartners is investing in the next generation of vets through its farm vet graduate scheme as it is important we attract the most talented graduates.

Our newest farm vets have just spent two weeks at the South West Dairy Development Centre, getting to grips with all aspects of livestock management.

From the start of their career, we’re supporting our farm vets to provide the best possible care for farmers and their livestock.
