Welsh sow takes Devon County interbreed pig title

The interbreed pig title here at Devon County this morning has gone to the Welsh champion, a sow from Arthur Uglow. This one is Edgcumbe Julia 2370, a Braemor Earl daughter. This March 2006-born sow is in pig and due in August with her 8th litter.

Standing reserve was the Berkshire champion, a 2003-born sow with 10 litters behind her and due again July. This one, Dittisham Lady 36 from Ian Todd, is by Honeysuckle Namatjira and stood reserve interbreed at Bath and West two years ago.
