Winter National Show reserve female champ sells in private sale

Northumberland-based Whittaker Farms and Co have sold the Aberdeen Angus Winter National Show reserve female champ for an undisclosed figure to the Borewell herd of Daniel Whiteford and Co, Berwick upon Tweed.

April 2010-born Flodden Elegant K572 is a daughter of Wedderlie New Era H573 and out of Wedderlie Elegant H634.  She was sold in-calf to Ardrossan Admiral.

She was crowned first prize junior yearling heifer at the Royal Highland Show last year, first place junior yearling and junior champion at the Great Yorkshire Show, before taking the title of yearling champion and reserve overall female champion at the Aberdeen Angus Winter National Show in Carlisle.
