150 machinery lots up for grabs at Lancashire auction

More than 150 high-value lots will be going under the hammer on 16 February, as Lancashire contracting and hire firm Wilson Farming seeks to update its extensive machinery fleet.

The sale, run by East Anglian auctioneer Cheffins, will feature 14 tractors, six forage harvesters, three self-propelled mowers and two loading shovels.

Tractors include a 2020 John Deere 6215R and 2020 6155R, with respective estimates of £115,000 and £95,000, plus a 2020 Fendt 720 that’s expected to sell for about £90,000.

Other notable items are a 2011 Class Jaguar 960 valued at £80,000, a 2011 Claas 940 with an estimate of £70,000 and a 2021 Krone Big M 450 self-propelled mower that’s valued at about £235,000.

There’s also a 2021 JCB 419S loading shovel with an estimate of £130,000.

The auction will take place on Thursday 16 February at Huntleys, Samlesbury, Lancashire, PR5 0UN.

There is a viewing day on Wednesday 15 February.
