Yamaha has added a smattering of extra features to its 450 and 700 Kodiak ATVs to form two top-spec Kiwami variants.

As standard, these models come with heated grips and a thumb warmer to make life a tad more pleasant in the winter, plus a rugged seat cover and bigger aluminium cargo baskets.

Mechanicals remain as they were, with the flagship 700 running a 686cc engine and the 450 making do with 421cc.

Both get a belt-type CVT transmission warranted for 10 years, selectable two- and four-wheel drive modes and electronic power steering.

As well as the larger baskets, the 700 comes with a Warn winch and rated towing and carrying capacities of 600kg and 140kg, respectively.
