Loncin distributor seeks dealers for quads and buggies
Mid-range XWolf 550 © Loncin The distributor of a range of quad bikes and farm buggies wants to recruit dealers with a strong focus on workshop services and parts back-up to help gain a foothold with the Loncin line-up.
Quad Factors, based in Ireland, reckons the Chinese manufacturer has upped its game with the new XWolf ATVs to target the “premium” market for durable, reliable and well-supported machines of the type used by farmers, foresters and the like.

Derek Weldon of Quad Factors said: “What started as a value-led alternative has quickly become a recognised option for farmers who want a modern spec, proper warranty support, and a machine that’s set up for real work straight out of the crate.”
Loncin’s five-model range of road-legal quads covers a broad spectrum of features and performance.
All are equipped with a heavy-duty tow hitch and trailer electrics socket, including the simple two-wheel drive machines of 14hp and 22hp seen previously.
XWolf
Things get more interesting with the XWolf 550, which has selectable two-/four-wheel drive and a diff lock, 46hp from its 500cc motor, and a 25-litre fuel tank.
Next up, the 700 packs a more advanced 686cc liquid-cooled motor.
It develops much the same peak power at 47hp but there’s a handy increase in torque, maxing out at 66Nm versus 53Nm at a less heady 4,500rpm, down from 5,200rpm.
A long wheelbase version has an extra 180mm of chassis metal between the axles, taking the wheelbase from 1,300mm to 1,480mm and making space for a longer seat for two-person riding at the expense of a modestly larger turning circle and an extra 10kg mass.
Top of the range is the new XWolf 1000, which sports a V-twin petrol motor punching out an altogether livelier 100hp, with 102Nm of torque at a buzzy 5,500rpm helping get things under way.
A 1,500mm wheelbase helps accommodate the bigger power unit and there’s a tad more underbelly clearance – up from 280mm to 305mm – thanks to 14in rather than 12in rims, and A-arm suspension supported by fully adjustable shock absorbers.
Complementing the quads is Loncin’s UWolf 1000 utility off-roader, powered by the V-twin engine and available in single-row and two-row seating versions.
