Suzuki adds tracker and immobiliser to protect KingQuad ATVs

Suzuki aims to help thwart would-be ATV thieves by adding tracking and immobilising technology to the Cesar package installed on all KingQuads.

The Cesar security system, powered by Datatag, gives each machine a unique and permanent identity using UV etching, hidden RFID chips, microscopic Datadots and tamper-evident warning labels. These unique identity and ownership details are held on a database available 24/7 to police forces.

However, Suzuki now goes further to protect its customers from the cost and inconvenience of thefts by adding the Datatool Stealth S5+ tracker and immobiliser.

This 4G-enabled tracking system includes tow-away alerts, and riders carry a tag that activates the “no tag, no start” immobiliser when they move away from the ATV, after which it cannot be started, even using the original ignition key.

The Datatool app can be used to see the KingQuad’s journey history and current location, and there is “around the clock” support from a UK-based theft monitoring team.
