Awesome Austrian build quality from Lindner Geotrac 124 tractor

One of the smartest looking machines on display at Agritechnica this week, the Austrian-built Lindner Geotrac 124 really pulled in the crowds.

It’s got a 126hp Perkins 4-cyl engine, Carraro suspended front-axle, 24-speed semi-powershift ZF gearbox and back-end.

Where it breaks from tradition is with its cab styling and controls. It’s one of the best put together and well-thought-out cabins we’ve seen, with aircraft-style display screen and premier automotive-grade fixtures and fittings.

There’s even a rearward-facing camera with night-vision capability and a built in hands-free mobile phone kit.

A central section of the windscreen stretches back into the roofline for unbeatable views skywards. Lindner has used specialist design consultancy Storz to help develop the Geotrac.

This is the first time the company has had anything to offer above 100hp and, keen to get a toehold in the UK, it’s on the lookout for British dealers.
