Berthoud launches new ‘Raptor’ self-propelled sprayer

Berthoud’s latest self-propelled sprayer, the Raptor, combines features of the previous Boxer and Tenor ranges to create a robust machine, claims the company.

An active air suspension system on front and rear axles, coupled with the firm’s Hydro Pilot cruise control, 2-wheel, 4-wheel and crab steering are all fitted as standard.

It’s available in two models with 3200-litre and 4200-litre tanks and booms from 24m to 44m. Deutz 180 and 200hp engines offer road speeds of up to 40km/hour and prices go from about £108,000.
