Cereals 2009: Stronga shows off its demountable trailer system

Want to cut down on the number of trailers you run? Hertfordshire company Stronga has a new demountable trailer system called Swaploada that uses one full-spec chassis with several bodies.
You buy a single air-braked chassis (ABS is an option too), then you can fit a grain trailer, tanker or flatbed trailer. Lift cylinders mounted on the chassis (and operated from the tractor spool valves) allow you to remove a body in 20 minutes and then put on a new one in about the same time.
Cost of a Swaploada trailer is £1000-£1500 more than an ordinary one, says the firm.
