Bolstering the compact telescopic handler trend, Manitou’s latest machine offers a 6m reach and 2.5t lift capacity in a neat little package.

The MLT 625 is just 2m tall and 1.8m wide with a side-mounted engine and a larger cab than the 523 it supersedes.

The 3.3 litre, four-cylinder Kubota powerplant develops 75hp and it is fitted with a 90l/235 bar hydraulic pump.

A two speed hydrostatic transmission gives the machine a top speed of 25km/h and it is fitted with the company’s JSM joystick control.

Manitou says the MLT 625 will be available in the UK in April or May 2011 in two spec levels.
