A lightweight roller comprising a series of flexible rings is a new finishing tool for a selection of Amazone tractor-mounted cultivators.

Designed to consolidate sandy to loamy soils while leaving a fine, loose surface, the FW 580 Flex Ring roller is available for the 3-4m Cenio and Cenius mounted chisel tine cultivators, and the Catros compact disc cultivator.

Each element is formed from two lengths of flat spring steel curved to form a flexible 580mm ring attached to a slim 140mm diameter tube.

A levelling harrow can be added and, although the ring design is said to have good self-cleaning properties, a sprung scraper arrangement is available for sticky conditions.
