Cultivator’s first for UK

Yorks-based Flexi-Farm machinery has introduced a new front-mounted cultivator, which the firm believe to be the first implement of its kind in the UK.

The machine – dubbed Till-spike – has two rows of interlocking 25mm sq spikes spaced at 125mm apart, running on a 120mm steel axle. These spikes are preceded by a row of depth-adjustable paddle boards.

Currently only available as a 3m version at a cost of 4150, the unit will eventually be built in a range of sizes.
