Lamma 2016: Great Plains broadens X-Press cultivator range
Trailed and mounted versions of the X-Press short-disc cultivator from Great Plains will make their debut at Lamma, highlighting new options such as the levelling board leading tines, side deflectors and in-cab hydraulic control of disc gang angle.

To broaden the implement’s potential, the X-Press can be had with 515mm TurboCoulter blades for minimal disturbance across the working width and SoilRazor discs for chopping residues from tougher crops such as maize.
These and the standard notched discs are available in 508mm and 560mm diameters, and can be arranged to give progressively deeper cultivation front to rear.
Mounted X-Press cultivators are produced in 3m, 3.5m and 4m widths and trailed versions are 5m, 6m and 7m wide, all featuring a new tubular steel centre frame.
