Amazone ploughs bolstered by semi-mounted machines

Amazone’s ever-expanding plough range sees another addition this year, with the firm now offering the new Hektor range of semi-mounted machines.

Available in six- or eight-furrow versions, the Hektor is the further fruit of Amazone’s takeover of Austrian-based Vogel and Noot, and offers a simple-to-operate solution for large-scale operations.

Suitable for tractors up to 350hp, it comes with basic manual furrow width adjustment and shear bolt overload protection.

A beefed-up trailing wheel ensures accurate depth control and minimises soil compaction for the front furrow to deal with on the next pass.
