New headstock and transport options for Kuhn Master M ploughs

Kuhn has built on its Master L range of ploughs with the introduction of the Master M, which benefits from new front-end options that ease operation both in the field and on the road.
As an alternative to the standard headstock, buyers can now spec the Godrive, which oscillates during transport to improve manoeuvrability and safety.

And Easydrive is another new option that makes it easier to switch from working to transport positions, quickly neutralising the top link without tools.
Kuhn says the Godrive and Easydrive systems are complementary, so can be combined.
Engineers have also added a new Optidrive front suspension system option, which is said to improve the ride – particularly on headlands – by absorbing shocks, thus helping to extend the plough’s working life.
The final improvement is to the oscillating “work and roll” wheel, which has a larger diameter for a better balance between traction and compaction, keeps the centre of gravity closer to the tractor, and gains hydraulic depth control from the cab.
Most other features have been inherited from the Master L range, including independent settings for offset and camber, and tool-free adjustment of the 3D skimmers.
The range is available with four to six bodies, manual or hydraulic vari-width, and mechanical or individual non-stop hydraulic protection on each furrow.
Prices start at £36,035 for the Master M five-furrow with a Godrive headstock.
