Law Farming to host Tillage-Live demo day in September
© Tillage Live The Tillage-Live demonstration day will return on 17 September, this time at Law Farming’s Chrishall Grange in Cambridgeshire.
Working plots remain the central attraction, with manufacturers free to run their cultivators and drills – and a few sprayers – across stubble fields and through a cover crop arena.

The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), which organises the event, will also put on a five-station “knowledge trail”, giving punters the chance to bag a few Basis and NRoSO points for their visit.
This will cover several key topics, including cover crop options, soil compaction mitigation, and best practice for reducing ammonia emissions.
Further advice on the nuances of different establishment systems will be available from experts at the cluster of static stands.
The AEA has also announced the addition of a new slurry demonstration zone at its Scotgrass event, which takes place on 13 May at Slacks Farm in Lochmaben, Dumfries and Galloway.
A range of pumping, separation and application machinery will be put to work in a field adjacent to the farm’s slurry store.
