A first for the industry, and apparently the world, Doosan has developed and patented a fully transparent bucket.

Created for use on front loaders, the maker says the transparent design virtually eliminates blind spot issues.

Using a series of cameras placed at the top and bottom of the machine, images are recorded in real time and relayed via curved projection on to a monitor within the cab, giving a constant visual on would-be blind spots at all times.

The result, says the maker, is markedly improved safety and increased working efficiency due to better visibility when travelling, loading and unloading, making it safer for the operator and those on the ground.
