Kramp streamlines online parts purchases
© Kramp Direct shipping, as well as a click-and-collect service with local dealerships, are among features of a new initiative enabling farmers, contractors and others to place orders directly with Kramp, the Dutch parts, tools and supplies giant.
The firm is opening up its webshop to customers, who can instantly create an account – something that previously took a few days – and pay for orders by credit card, or through an account with a local Kramp stockist.
Orders can be delivered direct to customers from the company’s UK warehouse or to a dealership for collection.

“We know that over 80% of people start looking for spare parts online,” says Leo Copping, Kramp field sales manager.
“Traditionally, they would then buy those parts at their local dealer.
“But increasingly the purchase is made online, often outside the agricultural industry, with no backup or technical support.”
The new setup enables farmers to effectively buy from their Kramp dealer while having all the benefits of the internet: instant stock availability status and pricing, and immediate dispatch from a warehouse for delivery the following day to their address.
Following a successful pilot, Kramp says a number of dealers have signed up to the programme, including many OEM outlets and long-standing independent businesses.
