Online genuine parts purchasing is being rolled out for Kubota tractors and Kubota, Kverneland and Vicon implements in the Terrako marketplace

Registered users are shown stock availability across a number of dealers.

Available for placing orders around the clock, the website allows farmers and contractors needing an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part urgently to order and pay for it by credit card at any time from the dealer holding stock.

They will then get confirmation when it is ready for collection.

In the absence of an obvious part number, the “smart search” identification tool can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet or PC to show a picture of the part needed.

The system will then aim to identify the part and provide a part number and its in-stock status and, if out of stock, an estimated delivery date.

Ultimately, the aim of the new facility is to make original parts ordering easier and more convenient while minimising the risk of selecting incorrect items.
